Biography
Melissa A. Tracy devotes her
practice to representing clients in the areas of family law and domestic
relations. Prior to joining Meriwether & Tharp, LLC, she worked as an
associate for another prominent Atlanta law firm in their family law
section and also worked in private practice in Forsyth County.
Melissa earned her law degree, with honors, from the University of
Memphis in 2007. While in law school, Melissa served as an articles
editor for the University of Memphis Law Review. Her Note, "The Equally
Shared Parenting Time Presumption-A Cure-All or a Quagmire for Tennessee
Child Custody Law," was published by the same publication in its Fall
2007 issue.
Prior to attending law school, Melissa earned a degree in communication
from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and worked as a legal
assistant for an attorney specializing in bankruptcy and family law.
Melissa resides in Forsyth County with her husband and son.
