Lolita has over 20 years of experience as a trial attorney. She is a compassionate advocate for clients and provides quality services with the goal of achieving the best outcome for her clients. She has handled divorces, custody cases, legitimations, child support cases, juvenile court cases, and criminal cases. Before joining M&T, she had a firm Beyah Law, LLC. Lolita's practice was 80% family law, 15% criminal and 5% general civil/probate matters. She has worked as an associate for The Secret Firm, a public defender in the City of Atlanta and Fulton County as well as a judicial staff attorney in Fulton County Superior Court.

Lolita is from Newark, New Jersey. As a young adult, she was employed as a biomedical research laboratory technician at Rockefeller University in New York when she decided to attend law school because of the injustices she observed in her family and the community. Lolita decided she wanted to be an advocate for people. Although she cannot guarantee the outcome of any case, Lolita understands the importance of protecting an individual's rights in court. She knows that everyone wants their lawyer to fight for them even when it looks like everything stacked against them.

It took over 2 years for my wife go agree to a settlement. Through it all Ms. Beyah demonstrated incredible patience in working through 3 different attorney's that represented my wife. She kept me focused on the important issues of the case helping me to maintain a clear, calm head when solutions seemed out of reach. I certainly give her and Merriwether and Tharpe my highest rating and recommendation. Posted by Rick

This was one of the most difficult times I've had to face in a long time. It was so much unknown, confusion and frustration. I will say Lolita got to work. She ensured me that everything would be ok and held my hand during the entire process. She was factual, fair and honest and that's what I neeeded. Her team made this a great experience with an awesome outcome. Posted by Nicole
